About Mel King Tutoring

   Melanie King is a passionate dyslexia intervention specialist with over 30 years of experience as an educator in schools private and public as well as in home school settings. She thrives in working one-on-one and personalizing each lesson for the student so that it is engaging, effective, and efficient.

   

   She has graduated 12 students from the Barton program to date and has coached many more through the upper levels. As a tutor, educator, as well as a parent of a special learner, Melanie provides much-needed support and resources for parents so they can become confident advocates for their students.
